The SS30X self-contained transmitter comes with a rechargeable battery and charger. Operating on a standard 512 Hz frequency, the SS30 can locate and trace non-conductive pipes or ducts at depths up to 25'. This sonde is not threaded and a sonde carrier is recommended for attaching to a rodder. The sonde is lightweight at .175 lb with a 0.75" diameter and is 3.625" in length.
