The 7/16" Ruf Rod uses DCD's largest frame with a 40" diameter storage basket, which can hold up to 1500' of 7/16" fiberglass rod. The rod's high strength, resin impregnated fiberglass core and polypropylene protective sheath make the DCD rod extremely durable with a tensile strength of 11,000 lbs. Pull strength is 1,750 lbs. using a glued rod end connection.
The frames incorporate the new EZ-Tip feature, a larger footprint for stability, steel brake handles that will last forever, dual rod out-feeding positions, and wheels inside the frame width. All frames can be laid down on either side. These are just some of the design features that will make every unit more usable and friendly for the end user.
