DCD Duct Rodder Rod Splices

The splices are used to repair a break in the rod. The five larger sizes are stainless steel and can be glued or screwed on, the two smaller sizes are brass and must be glued. Non-metallic splices should be used to repair the traceable duct rodders. It should be noted that having a solid section in the middle of the rod may cause problems with bending at that point and care should be taken when winding rod back into the cage.
