Vivax-Metrotech vLoc3 RTK-Pro Pipe & Cable Locator
Vivax-Metrotech has yet again raised the bar for pipe and cable locators with this vLoc3 RTK-Pro utility locator, the first to add RTK GNSS survey-grade accuracy. Featuring an internal cellular module with 4G LTE capabilities coupled with the dual omni directional antennas that support offset locating, the user can safely pinpoint buried utilities from the curb with Real-Time Kinematic (RTK) corrections for the highest level of accuracy.
The off-set locating capability means common obstacles are no longer concerning, underground utilities are locatable beneath parked vehicles, flowing traffic, bushes, behind fences and more. Equipped with multi-frequency sensing, automatic depth and a large LCD display, this locator is a dream to use. With current measurement and signal direction, you never have to worry about locating the wrong pipe or cable.
The vLoc3 RTK-Pro receivers come standard with lithium-ion rechargeable batteries as well as an alkaline battery pack. When ordered with the optional Bluetooth module, the GPS data will appear on screen and can be transferred to a smart phone or laptop via BT. GPS information can also be used in conjunction with Google Maps to create a map of your locate.
When bundled with a Loc-5STx 5-watt transmitter, Loc3-5Tx, Loc3-10Tx 10-watt transmitter or the Loc3-25TX 25-watt transmitter, the vLoc3 RTK-Pro delivers accuracy, simplicity and versatility previously unseen in the utility industry. Vivax-Metrotech transmitters feature multiple locating frequencies, rugged ABS and carbon fiber construction and long battery life. Many other accessories are available including induction clamps and sondes.
