Vivax-Metrotech vCam-6 HD Camera System
These Vivax-Metrotech pipe camera systems give you the flexibility to cover a range of inspections including indoor drain lines, municipal collection systems, residential plumbing, indoor commercial lines, and lateral lines from 1.5" up to 8" in diameter.
This camera system uses the latest technology packaged in a rugged, lightweight, compact profile made specifically for the harsh conditions related to sewer lateral inspections. The vCam-6 High Definition pipe camera system is available with 1080p Full HD self-leveling camera heads on the Type-CP standard reel with a 9.7" HD daylight viewable display for crisp and detailed HD video inspections.
All Vivax-Metrotech pipe inspection camera systems are backed by a full one year warranty, along with on-site training and support.
The new vCam-6 control module is backwards compatible with the legacy D18-MX, D26-MX, D34-C, D34-M and D46-CP analog camera heads but will produce SD (standard definition) video and pictures.
vCam-6 HD Control Module
The vCam-6 High Definition control module is a perfect fit for plumbers, contractors, home inspectors or building maintenance supervisors. The latest technology in imaging and recording are packaged in a rugged ABS injection molded housing made specifically for harsh conditions. The vCam-6 control module allows you to add audio comments, text descriptions, footage, date and timestamps to easily provide customers with a more in depth inspection.

vCam-6 Pipe Inspection Camera Reels
The cable reels from Vivax-Metrotech are made of stainless steel tubular construction for rugged day-to-day outdoor use.
Two cable reels are available to give you a range of options for various jobs such as the ultra-portable MX Mini Reel for tight confined space use, entering vents from rooftops or for long-run small diameter laterals with access points in basements.
The 200' Type-CP reel is the general day-to-day workhorse, while the 300' and 400' Type-CP are good for the municipal worker concerned with checking main lines from manhole-to-manhole.
Type-CP Standard Reel
Constructed of stainless steel tubing welded together and making use of gusseted plates in heavy stress areas to prevent the frame from bending. The control module can be mounted on top of the Type-CP reel or the reel can be used in a vertical position. An optional drip bag accessory is available to protect against water splatter and to catch any water or debris when working indoors.

MX Mini Reel
The MX Mini Reel shares the same stainless steel tubing manufacturing as the larger Type-CP reel. The MX reel's size allows it to be used in a more confined area and for special applications such as using on top of a roof through a roof vent. The smaller diameter pushrod used on the mini reel allows for inspection of smaller diameter lines from 1.5 to 4 inches. An optional drip bag accessory is available to protect against water splatter and to catch any water or debris when working indoors.
