Cable Sheaves

All sheaves are cast from 356-T6 aluminum, machined for correct balance and fitted with heavy duty, self-lubricating SAE863 iron-bronze bushings. These have more than twice the load bearing capacity of traditional bronze bushings. 356-T6 aluminum is a heat treated material giving over 33,000 lbs of tensile strength making it one of the strongest types of aluminum castings available. These sheaves are designed to take the full load at either entry or exit points of the pull. Full line of Hangers and Guides also available.

Also available now are "Flat Bottom" Sheaves. These sheaves are designed to allow parrallel seating of 3 cables on the sheave. This prevents bunching, which often causes one or more ohe cables to rid up the side of the sheave, possibly damaging the cable jackets.
