HL 5000 Digital Water Leak Detector
The HL 5000 Acoustic Water Leak Locator uses modern digital signal processing (DSP) and dual segment analysis (DSA) technologies to quickly deliver more reliable water loss pinpointing on an easy-to-read digital display.
The DSA technology filters out background noise and displays it side-by-side with the leak noise in a graph, reducing the chance of misinterpreting the audio. The graph simply shows you where the loudest constant noise was since up to nine measurements can be saved and displayed in a histogram measurement.
With an array of microphones available, you can customize each job to meet your needs. For example, the GM80 ground microphone's bell shape reduces wind and outside noise, while the PAM B-2 ground mic with magnet allows the user to comfortably listen at valves and hydrants.
