SCOUT'S
ABM
BATTERY
TECHNOLOGY
Scout's exclusive Advanced Battery Management technology feature provides up to 50 hours of runtime with both Alkaline and Lithuim-Ion battery packs. The Lithium Ion battery packs won't loose their charge during extended storage periods or develop a "charge memory". Re-charging is quick an simple with the wireless battery charger. The Scout's battery pack releases with the touch of a button, making battery changes quick and easy (no tools required). |

INTELISHUTTER
DESIGN
This feature allows the Scout to be switched between diffusion and sampling modes by simply sliding the Intellishutter. No tools required. Shutter position is sensed to prevent incorrect operation and sample draw port only permits a probe to be connected when the shutter is closed.

SENSORS
With the Value2 sensor, Carbon Monoxide
and Hydrogen Sulfide detection are combined into one sensor. With three
additional ports available, the Scout can detect up to 5 gases simultaneously,
and unlike other multi-gas instruments, all 5 can be toxic.
The Scout's sensors have a 2 year warranty and are the least expensive to replace in the industry. |

MODULAR
COMPONENT DESIGN
All of the Scouts major components are modular and designed for simple, fast replacement in-the-field. If a pump failure should occur, the Scout can continue to work and a new pump can be simply plugged in. Sensors can also be replaced in-field with no special tools required, only a screwdriver is required for component swap outs. |
