Vivax-Metrotech VM-510FFL Standalone A-Frame
Maximize your budget and minimize your equipment with the VM-510FFL A-frame standalone locator. A high-contrast LCD display combined with a built-in weatherproof speaker deliver audio and visual indicators for simultaneously locating both the cable and the ground fault.
The Vivax-Metrotech VM-510FFL features an ergonomic, lightweight, carbon fiber frame with stainless-steel spikes, making it suitable for use on long cable runs. The four button interface provides simple operation, while the backlit LCD displays directional arrows that point to the fault.
By using the A-frame with a Vivax-Metrotech transmitter, any user can quickly detect suspect cables and pinpoint cable faults. Simply place the transmitter in Fault-Find mode after connecting it to the line, then trace the path with the VM-510FFL until you pinpoint the sheath or ground fault.
The VM-510FFL receiver is powered by six (6) AA alkaline or NiMH batteries that provide up 60 hours of battery life. A soft carry bag, USB cable, spike covers and a user guide are included.
