512Hz Sonde

Deep locating just got easier! The lightweight SS20X and SS30X Sondes have an impressive 20'+ depth range for locating in non-metallic pipes. The SS20X self-contained transmitter operates on a single AAA alkaline battery to locate and trace non-conductive pipes or ducts, while the SS30X-BC comes with a rechargeable battery and charger.

The key difference between the SS20X and SS30X is the signal strength and accuracy when locating at greater depths. The SS30X covers more range of depth, delivering consistently stronger accuracy ranges even when tracing 25 feet below the surface.

With the Sonde Carrier, you can easily convert your standard pushrod into a detectable rodder. The spring style carrier is available with either a 5/16"-18 threaded female stud for 1/4" rods, or a 3/8"-16 threaded female stud for 3/8" or 1/2" rods, and provides a safe enclosure for the Sonde, no tape needed!

Just insert the SS20X or SS30X into the carrier, attach the carrier to your favorite 1/4-inch, 3/8-inch or 1/2-inch rodder, and start locating from above ground with a Sonde wand tuned to the same 512Hz frequency.
